Description
1967 Mercury Cougar – 289ci V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission.
You’re looking at the nicest one on the continent.
First and foremost, there is nothing to do. Everything works. There isn’t a single leak of anything from anywhere. Everything from chassis, brakes to suspension, engine, transmission and electrics is new.
The car spent its life from new until 2017 in sunny Texas a stone throw from the Mexican border. Underneath is like new, no rust anywhere. All recently detailed and undersealed with an expensive German brand. All cavities wax oiled to prepare the car for its life in England.
Full respray in Mustang Wimbledon White before it left. Spotless.
In my 800 miles of ownership since last Summer here at my premises in west London we’ve done the following.
289 Engine Rebuilt to mild street specs, absolutely wonderful to live with, turn key ready in any situation.
