An iconic Boxer in full Desert Sled Regalia. This UK registered, 1982 BMW R80 is both MOT/ tax exempt but most importantly, ULEZ exempt.
The bike was built 600 miles ago by Steven Bailey. It has been extensively upgraded and is remarkably quick for a BMW Boxer, whilst still being perfectly tractable for around town and long distance riding.
The bike features a SIEBENROCK Power Kit, boring it out to 1000cc, CoBuilt desert sled exhaust pipes, keyless ignition, full Moto Gadget system fitted (control, buttons etc.), spark plug boosters, K&N performance air filters with the engine and carburettors tuned for maximum power.
The bike (electric start) starts first time and isles calmly without issues. We have ridden it extensively over the past few days and have seriously deliberated over whether to keep it or not. The built has been tastefully executed and is universally admired. The next owner is sure to have an absolute riot on this machine.
As with all of our vehicles, we have a digital folder available on request containing more images, walkaround videos, pictures of the underside and scans of the service history. The car can be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
