EXTERIOR
This beautiful one owner S2000 presents in wonderful original condition and, being the GT model, it comes fully equipped with a removable hardtop (and stand) that’s in equally fine order. Having always been garaged the bodywork is excellent, with a deep lustful shine and only some minor chips and imperfections in-line with the mileage to report. The lights are all free from any chips or frosting, with all the plastic and rubber trims perish-free and unfaded. The electric hood works exactly as it should and is without any damage or discolouration.

INTERIOR
You can really see the benefit of keeping a car garaged when you look at the interior of this example. The leather remains feeling soft to the touch with no fading or cracking, and other than some expected creasing to the driver’s bolster it all remains in superb condition. The steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever also remain in fine condition, the only real negatives to note being a few small scratches to some of the trims and plastics. The footwell carpets are both pristine and are still protected with the original S2000 overmats; the boot area is also very tidy.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Opening the bonnet reveals a well presented engine bay with the bright red cam cover still in great order. Reading through the history file it’s clear that this example’s one and only keeper has maintained the car to a high standard. In fact, aside from the very first service that was carried out at Honda, the car has only ever been looked after by one specific garage. Barely run-in with only 44k miles under its belt, this early S2000 still feels extremely tight and very rewarding to drive.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
Freshly diamond-cut by Lepsons, all the alloys are immaculate and free from any marking or lacquer damage; the centre caps are in original condition but could easily be replaced with new items should the new keeper wish to make the car perfect. The wheels are shod in Pirelli Cinturato P7 tyres all round, the fronts having just been replaced at the current mileage. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition with plenty of life left.

HISTORY FILE
In the careful hands of one owner from new this example has been maintained to an excellent standard. The original document pack remains with the car and includes all the owner’s manuals, the fully stamped service book (detailed below), spare keys, a raft of invoices, and the V5C showing 0 previous keepers.
