Beschreibung
Completely solid bodywork, good paintwork, original throughout, with immaculate interior with MB-Tex upholstery, bench front seat so six-seater, period radio, ribbon speedo. Comes with full history, bills, MOTs, etc, from first owners for 40+ years. Believed South African spec, first used for Embassy work in London. Souvenirs of next owners, Keith and Norah Ashworth, who used it on 'Classic Safari' in East Africa in 2011. Mechanics fine, assumed rebuilt at that time, so drives well. I've owned it for six years, but don't get the opportunity to use it enough, so willing to pass it on to another enthusiastic owner. A real sixties classic, the 'cooking' 190 is the rare version of the Mercedes 'Fintail' saloon, most of them were drive into the ground as taxis, unlike this one which has been looked after for all its life. Headturner, really enjoyable to drive, any trial welcome.
