This Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV it’s surprisingly comfortable to drive, the driving position is incredibly ergonomic and well designed with everything within reach taking the pain out of driving. All around the car you can see and feel the Japanese attention to details, from the drivers cockpit to the washer fluid dipstick, appreciable is also the use of the paddle shifter to adjust the regenerative braking system, adding a little extra to the driving experience.
The PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) it’s very easy to use and drive, giving you 32miles of full electric range and over 300 miles of range on petrol.
Under the bonnet A 2 litre 4 cylinder engine and 50Kw electric engine capable of 67hp giving a combined power of 200hp, all paired to the Toyota CVT gearbox making the drive smooth and delicate.
Thanks to the CVT gearbox the engine will be always at the right rev range to power the electric engine making the car extremely economical to run. This Mitsubishi Outlander is also 4WD, with the ICE powering the front wheels and 2 electric motors powering the rear wheels and features the 4wd lock to improve all weather capabilities.
This 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV comes fully loaded with all the options available at the time, such as two zone climate control, cruise control, S-AWC 4 wheel drive system, heated seats, electrically adjustable driver seat, sunroof, bluetooth, sat nav, Dab radio, automatic lights and wipers, keyless entry and start, programmable remote heating and electric boot opening.
