A chance to acquire a lovely, clean and usable CB200T classic bike. It turns heads everywhere it goes. It is classed as “Historic Vehicle” so MOT, Tax and London ULEZ exempt. The V5 is in my name.
These CBs are sized perfectly for city streets, with plenty of power, but very little bulk. They are light and easy to flick around in traffic and have buckets of charm. Electric and kick-start make sure this remains as usable as a modern bike.
The bike has been imported from the US as a project in 2018. It was a complete, original and unabused bike. It had good compression and fired, but obviously needed recommissioning after a very long time off the road.
Before putting the bike on the road, I’ve replaced and improved the following: new tyres, new brake shoes, new cables, new carburettor jets and floats, new points and condenser, new plugs, new chain, new seat. Lower (Honda Super Sport) handlebars, professional paint job on a custom colour following the original line pattern.
