We have found another very original Westy from 1972. It is a T2AB crossover, so the looks of an A with the technology of a B.
The bus was delivered from the factory in San Diego and has just received a new 1700 CC “W” type 4 engine with a double carburettor.
The bus has been mechanically and technically completely overhauled and painted in the Volkswagen color Pastel White.
No welding done or needed. Only the nose had a dent and 1 side panel. Restoration photos available upon request.
There is a new large bed in the roof and the interior has been reupholstered.
Really a wonderful camper to drive in with sturdy wheels and fully equipped with the 2nd household battery.
