Description
This robinhood super spec sports racer was professionally constructed at the instance of it's only keeper since registration using all new parts, including its rover t series 2. 0 16v twin ohc injection engine providing 138 bhp. The engine is the upgraded version designed to prevent oil leaks from the cylinder head and uses the later short black valve seals rather than the prior older designed seals. The engine was also fitted with the latter mls head gasket rather than the earlier composite version. The engine was retained from new until it was issued as part of the super spec sports racer kit together with a new ford mt75 5 speed manual gearbox and ford rear axle. This 'super spec' was the range topping model from robinhood sports cars. The build quality of this light weight racer is excellent. There are no annoyances. The car has an imposing stance and is extremely well balanced. It is quite simply a thrilling and extremely responsive drive.
