MX5 MK1 – V Special limited edition. In arguably the most desirable colour scheme for a mk1 – black with tan leather interior. Very low mileage only 52k miles. Car was imported and then kept garaged till 2019 at which point it was purchased by the owner’s friend who finally put it on the road. As a result the car is one of the cleanest MK1’s, No rust issues, original spot welds on the sills and arches – underneath is super clean for a MK1. To freshen it up for the road – it had the timing belt done, full service, master cylinder changed – I recently changed the slave cylinder too. Original spec with daisy wheels – I have the center caps and tan leather tonneau cover. MOT until mid February 2023.
Drives great, lots of power from the engine. Roof is a glass back roof, a little tired - frayed edges but cheap to replace, few minor age related blemishes but otherwise very clean inside and out. Owner's club member genuine reason for sale. Viewings and test drives welcomed. Priced to sell.
