This is a really good car that has had extensive restoration work carried out over recent years to a very high standard, including a refurbished interior..
Engine was dismantled in 2019 and rebuilt using new bearings, piston rings, gaskets, oil seals, timing chain and complete clutch kit. Cylinder head was refaced, valve seats re cut and valves ground in. Water pump rebuilt, starter motor carburettor and Distributor were also serviced. The rest of the car was extensively restored in 2011/ 13.
Underneath also looks amazing, ill add pictures when the spring comes.
These were a high class, quality car when new and even today the car performs very well against modern traffic, its a real pleasure to drive and due to its good performance, encourages you to enjoy the B roads. The heater is also a real belter, so no excuse to keep it in the garage all winter. Only selling to make room for next Classic.
