This lot comprises an original aluminium 1964 Aston Martin DB5 front end with original bumper (please note no grill, lights, bonnet or bumper overriders are being sold with this item). Images of the complete original car are seen in the photo library. The images of the DB5 front end complete with lights, bonnet, number plate and machine guns are to illustrate how this item could look and again make up no part of this sale.
As you would expect from a panel that is no longer being used on a car, there are a few imperfections in this piece. We think this really adds to its character, but equally the condition is such that it will require only a little work to bring it back to perfect condition.
This item has great potential to become a piece of artwork or furniture or even make an eye-catching display piece for a marque dealership or specialist garage. Wherever it ends up, its sure to look amazing. For collectors of automobilia, the rare, iconic and unusual are always sought after.
