This really is a cracking little machine, starts, runs, drives and stops really well, super nimble and nippy little tractor, we are really impressed with it.
2 cylinder Kubota diesel engine starts readily and runs really well, it’s fairly pokey and can travel quickly. All the gears in the simple mechanical gear box select in both ranges, no sloppy hydro drive here, just simple cogs in a box, the clutch is sharp with plenty of bite. The brakes are good and the park brake holds well. Lift arms are working and the PTO selects and stops as intended.
It’s a 4 wheel drive model, very easy to turn and manoeuvre in a tight spot. It currently has a very sturdy tow hitch attached and we have been moving large trailers about in the snow and ice with it, see pics and video. The 3 point linkage lift arms and yolks have been misplaced, if required a complete new set with a top link is available online for £85, again see pics, the actual lift arms are still in place and working. Tin work is all intact and solid. Also comes with a spare set rear wheels with grass tyres fitted.
Approx. model year 1975, this is proper solid Japanese mini tractor, built before accountants cut back on quality and completely electronic free, no lap tops or technicians required.
Lights not working, tyres have age cracks, none standard external water pump fitted, un-known hours, no clock ever fitted, we’d recommend a service and check over due to unknown history.
Bet you can’t drive it ten yards without smiling.
