1969 Lotus Elan +2 "Black Badge".
The car is made in 1968 at the Lotus factory in 1968 and wears the black lotus badge because that year was a sad year or Lotus and motorsport in general because of the loss of Jim Clark at Hockenheim in 1968.
This car was on the roads in UK until the early 90s where it was exported to Sweden and lived its life there.
It was then due to a broken starter motor "or ring gear" put into storage where it have been until a couple of years ago.
It is complete with all mechanic parts there.
Correct Lotus Twin Cam engine with double 40mm italian webers, turns over freely and i have got the engine running and it has good oil pressure and sounds healthy.
I think this early +2s model with the bonnet scoop, black badge and world champion badges at the rear wings are the coolest +2 Elan but i just dont have the time to fix it with a lot of other projects going on.
Car comes with Swedish V5.
Can be transported worldwide at very reasonable cost!
