The Land Rover Defender is forever set to be the UK’s most popular 4x4. British built for 67 years and very capable, these Land Rovers continue to capture the hearts of British people and others worldwide. The 90 variant has undergone a number of changes over the decades with a selection of different engines and transmissions in that period. This for example, from 1998, was fitted with the 2. 5litre TD5 engine that became a favourite amongst Land Rover fans with good reliability and a unique sound. A powerplant that resulted in enough power for the 4x4 to keep up with modern, everyday traffic. This truck was supplied in Monte Carlo Blue Metallic, only available on Defenders from 2001 – 2003; it certainly helps this example stand out from the crowd. It is also fitted with other additional parts such as panoramic rear windows, snorkel, halo headlights, black side steps and black cheque plate. Combine this with freshly refurbished alloy wheels and brand-new all-terrain tyres, this Defender really looks the part.
In good all-round condition, it has been well looked after and the interior remains in very good order as do the mechanicals. The exterior has suffered some age-related scuffs and marks but is ultimately in good order. With a fresh MOT and no advisories this iconic all-terrain vehicle is ready to be used and enjoyed. The sale includes a V5C document.
