As with all our own cars, and works vehicles, in the workshop and oil serviced every 6 mths,
When purchased by us in late 2020, the owner was very honest and we were made aware the car did use a small amount of oil, and was been topped up every couple of months/ longer periods dependent on use, from our research this was indicating the early signs of suspected turbo wear, (common on these engines), so easy enough to fix, (circa £500 for a new turbo, prob less for a used one if you wanted to go this way)
We have monitored and toped up in the same way, its never got any worse, its never caused us a problem, and it`s been perfectly usable in all our time owning it, and passed MOT tests no problem, when stood for a while at a junction you can get a puff of smoke that clears straight away, bearing this in mind we have priced accordingly should the new owner want to make the car perfect or require this doing in the future.
