I purchased this Land Rover in Jan 2014. It was originally owned by a Seed Mill in Suffolk and was then purchased by the company director for his own use. The old buff log book is present.
The hard top is not an original Land Rover option, but suits the vehicle well. The back door is made from a Series 1 door. I understand the hard top has been fitted since the mid 1960s at least. A standard tailgate is included in the sale.
In 2017/ 18 the engine was fully rebuilt.
There is a hot water hand wash tank fitted in the back but this is easily removed.
The front axle is a later version, but the original is included - with free wheeling hubs.
Chassis and bulkhead are good. Gearbox and fitted overdrive are good. Paint is shabby.
It has been a regular drive and has been very reliable.
