The interior has supple maroon leather seats excellent door cards and perfect wool cloth headlining See pics
It has column change which works as it should as apposed to the later troublesome right hand floor change
The C series engine starts readily ( new electric petrol pump) runs quietly smoothly and powerfully No wonder these cars were popular with the police No problem with modern traffic cruising comfortably at the legal limits
The breaks inspire confidence
The underside and substantial chassis is excellent and rust free the body is presentable as it is depending on ones opinion but at nearly 70 it will require ongoing work
All gages locks heater work as they should
It’s just been serviced and a new battery fitted
It can earn its keep doing film TV or weddings
It was in an episode of father Brown as a police car
