Honda NR750, 14, 500 km, Japanese papers and worldwide delivery.
The Honda NR (New Racing) is a V-four series of competition motorcycles from Honda, started in 1979 with the NR500 with oval cylinders. In the 1980s it was succeeded by a 750cc endurance racer, the NR750. Each oval piston is served by eight valves per cylinder. These generated more HP due to the improved air/ fuel mix during compression.
In 1992, Honda produced 322 street versions of the NR750 with elliptical pistons. This made the NR the priciest production motorcycle in the world.
This NR750, the number 11, belongs to the third Japanese owner. The previous owner replaced the chip that reduced the engine power to 77 hp with the European version and placed a titanium exhaust-system, making 115 hp now available. The No. 11 also has an RC30 front wheel, original NR brake discs and the original exhaust system as spare parts.
