My parents bought this car in England in the 80s, registration TFH971R to tour the British Isles and Europe. An engine overhaul was carried out by the BMW agent in Baden Baden.(I have no records).
They brought it home to Australia and used it as a second car until 1996, since when it has been in storage. Everything works however it needs a professional tune. The sunroof cables need replacing and the petrol tank sender needs repair. The paintwork is showing its age and there are only two small rust spots, see photos.
