Volvo 240 GL. 1989 . Absolutely time warp condition. Never been painted or welded. Ziebarted from new. Been off road 10 years, but sailed through mot with no advisories. 2 keys. Previous owner has just had new timing belt fitted, new water pump, fuel pump. Brand new sections of exhaust, brakes overhauled, brand new radiator, and a brand new engine undertray ready to be fitted, just fitted new spark plugs, and in tank fuel pump and assembly. Some service history. Interior is absolutely unmarked. Heated seats, electric windows . It is close to concours in my opinion. Some dealers are asking 8-10 k for similar cars! Even has half a tank of petrol! The only chink in it's considerable armour , was that the wheels were stolen off it, about 20 years ago! The cost of recovery and new Volvo alloys and tyres was more than the car was worth, so the insurance company wrote it off! So the owner kept his pride and joy, and put it on steels. I suppose back then it was just an old saloon. Asking a fair price for a superb example! Even comes with an outdoor cover!
