Mercedes 300D for sale as a project. No MOT so will need to be trailered away.
The car drives well, I have done over 4000 miles in the last year and had 0 issues. I took the car off the road in in September to protect it from the winter months, only retaxing it a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it failed on its recent MOT mainly for rust issues (for a detailed list please search for the mot history online database), mainly the rear driver side arch and 2 holes near the rear arch (see photos) and a seam weld on the other side that needs tidying up. The rest of the body is in very good condition for a 30-year-old car with the original underseal still protecting it. It's only the small area where the underseal has come off that's an issue.
The engine runs great, it has 274k miles but will likely do that again with no issues being the legendary 3-litre inline 6 diesel.
I don’t have the time or the welding skills to complete this project however I am in no rush to sell.
