Why should you consider this MGB V8 over the other cars that are available?
Whilst not a factory car, in my opinion, it is far superior because of the specification which is as follows:
Brand new V8 heritage body, rust treated and painted to a much higher standard than the factory would have achieved.
Built to a vey high professional standard. You would only have to inspect the car to see the standard of work.
New 5 speed gearbox and uprated propshaft.
Reconditioned rear axle.
New discs, calipers and brakes.
New shock absorbers front and rear.
New wheels and tyres.
New bespoke wiring loom.
New walnut dashboard incorporating all the latest guages.
Bespoke (to my knowledge, the only one in the world) tilt and slide sunroof built into the new body.
Top quality leather interior (which would have cost a small fortune to have made).
Stainless steel exhaust system including an 8 branch manifold.
New Elkbook carb.
Twin radiator fans.
BEST PART - THE ENGINE 3. 9 V8 sourced from a very low mileage Discovery and can only be described as in perfect condition having covered only 6000 miles since the build.
The cost to duplicate this build would exceed £50k.
Compared aginst others of similar spec, build and with the credentials at a similar price, I will accept £5k less. Thats how confident I am in this car and the pricing!
