Extremely rare opportunity to acquire a superb, unmolested and extremely low mileage (26k) V12 XJ-S Convertible which has been in the same ownership since 1991.
Completely original down to what could easily be its only set of rear Pirelli P600 tyres! The car runs beautifully but does not have a current MOT as it has not been driven since 2017, thus it is thus being offered as an enjoyable re-commissioning project. It will need new tyres, a brake overhaul, new bushes and a power steering pipe.
The car presents exceptionally well both inside and outside. The original Solent blue paint has a deep shine and the magnolia leather trim is virtually unmarked. It was originally supplied by Appleyard Jaguar of Harrogate and purchased by the second owner from Henlys of Chester. It still wears the dealer applied tax disc holder and number plates. The private number plate ‘JNR IN’ will come with the car also and has a value in the region of £2. 5k.
The V5 is present along with MOT certificates, sundry invoices and the service/ original drivers handbooks. The car is located at Leavenhalls Classic & Prestige in Shropshire. Any inspection welcomed. We will otherwise re-commission the car ourselves when time allows!
