1969 Opel GT-A/ L 1900 - US-spec - LHD - rear wheel drive. Maserati Rosso Red with black interior. 1900 CIH engine with Weber 32/ 36 DGV twin-choke carb fitted with snorkel & cone air filter. New 4-branch stainless steel exhaust manifold & system with new silencer/ muffler & rear resonator box (sounds amazing!). Five-speed Getrag c/ r gearbox. New Hella headlights (they rotate!), rear lamp buckets & seals - lots of new fittings & parts from Opel GT Source in California & Splendid Parts in Germany. Aldon Igniter II electronic ignition & matching coil, NGK Iridium plugs. Re-cored radiator with thermostatically-controlled electric fan (rarely cuts in). Four new Bridgestone 195/ 50 R 15 directional tyres on Borbet 8Jx15 H2 alloys; space-saver spare wheel &. TOAD alarm & immobiliser with central locking, 2 keys & 2 remotes; knock-off ignition switch & starter button. New Opel GT steering wheel. A really fun car & a real head-turner!
