The car drives superbly and the engine upgrade by leading experts DMS Automotive transforms the driving experience. The engine is now much smoother, more responsive and pulls much more strongly meaning you can drive normally but with just a light throttle and as a result fuel economy improves by c. 6mpg. These spacious estates offer very economical ownership, with 50mpg being easily achieved and just £35 road tax. Having invested in full service and timing belt plus new tyres recently it should want for nothing.
I sought out the sports suspension and 18" wheels, they combine to remove the 'wallowing' that can occur on the standard version (this is my third), yet still offer a compliant and comfortable ride.
