We are very pleased to offer a fantastic and beautifully preserved 1998 Rover Mini Cooper. This Cooper is finished in gleaming Metallic Nightfire Red with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes. It has only covered 56k in 25 years with just four previous owners. It is accompanied with a comprehensive service history which dates back to day one. It also has all the previous registration documents. Registered new by Caffyns of Brighton, it still wears both its original dealer registration number plates. It also has the original bill of sale and every MOT certificate. This Cooper is presented in its original specification apart from a wider set of 165 profile Yokohama tyres that give it a more purposeful stance and offering excellent handling.
On the road this Cooper is a real Jem. The 1275 engine is quiet and smooth and the gearbox is precise. This is an MPi Mini which stands for Multi point fuel injection, MPi Minis are so easy to use and drive, all you need to do is turn the key and go. Further benefits include side impact beams in the doors, drivers airbag and an alarm and immobiliser. Taller gearing on these cars also mean long distance cruising is a breeze. Performance is very brisk and of course the handling is fantastic. I have driven this Cooper over long distances and its an absolute pleasure on the open road. MPi Minis offer the Classic Mini looks with a modern twist.
This Mini has a well presented interior featuring Monaco trim half leather seats, full length Walnut dash with Magnolia dials which includes a rev counter and and an analogue clock. The stereo has been upgraded and usefully has Bluetooth streaming and hands free calling as well as AUX and USB inputs. This model also has rear seat belts.
This Cooper has a very very solid shell which is a testament to its low mileage and cared for life. It is an unrestored example and it belies its vintage. Gleaming paint work in the colour that really suits the Mini shape, the correct vented sills, solid floor pans and untouched boot floor. The subframes are also in very good condition. It is also a fantastic Mini to drive and most importantly it will make you smile out on the open road.
The Cooper has a full MOT, is fully serviced, checked, driven and ready to go and be enjoyed.
