Built in 2008 my Morgan Roadster Lightweight was one of Morgan’s road legal race cars with around only 100 being built, however this is one of only two finished in Aston Martin Chiltern Green with the removable carbon hard top. Thought to have only raced once in 2012 at the Silverstone Classic in a celebrity race it then changed hands and the new owner had it upgraded with some 50’s style Morgan race seats along with door cards and dash in green Aston leather.
Supplied to me last year by Richard Thorne Classic Cars the UK’s specialist in Lightweights, having had a full service and many new parts having been recommissioned from storage, the car will receive a new MOT upon sale.
Bought by me to do tours, trips and occasional car meets I now find I have no time to use it. Car with 18k miles; 4x genuine Morgan spare wheels; race seat (ideal for track days but out of date as are belts).
