As confirmed by its Porsche certificate, this 930 left the factory on February 1st 1988 for the French market, where it was registered on July 28th. It kept the elegant 'metallic navy blue' colour, teamed with an all-leather interior. Options included a locking differential, electrically adjustable sports seats, and an electric sunroof. The accompanying file features old invoices and copies of vehicle registration documents. Its current owner, a sports car enthusiast, acquired it in 2020, impressed by its condition and sought-after colour. This demanding collector took the vehicle to Porsche in Le Mans for a complete engine overhaul, the price tag coming in at almost €22, 000. The clock read 124, 877 km at the time and just under 131, 000 km today. The bodywork was entrusted to the renowned DAMY body shop for full paint job totalling €13, 800. The stunning original upholstery is well preserved thanks to some careful work undertaken by the Dreux upholstery workshop. The tyres are new and in good condition, an ancillary exhaust system that improves the sound of the flat 6 has been fitted (the original is also provided), and there is a circuit breaker in the passenger compartment. A spare set of keys, the partially stamped service book, and a photographic record of the vehicle's restoration come with this beast of 930, which has been test driven with the owner to our full satisfaction.
Auction estimate: €100 000 / €150 000
