First registered in January 1988, this E32-generation BMW 735i has had three private keepers, and the 2nd owner is reported to have kept the car for 29 years.
The vehicle’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in July 2022 at around 66, 500 miles, which was a major service including a spark plug change.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This 735i is finished in Diamond Black over a grey leather-trimmed interior, offset by a black dashboard and wood inlays on the dash, centre console and door cards.
It rides on a set of 15-inch alloy wheels shod in Michelin TRX tyres.
Factory-fitted equipment includes the original four-spoke steering wheel, an on-board computer, a sunroof, front and rear electric windows, and a Pioneer cassette player.

CONDITION
There is no major bodywork damage, save for some minor parking dents on the doors and some crazing in the lacquer on the passenger rear wing
The Diamond Black paintwork is described as being in generally good condition, showing some minor wear such as stone chips and small markings expected on a car of its age. The seller notes one stone chip in particular to the nearside front wing, and a small blemish on the bottom of the rear offside door.
All four tyres show signs of cracking, and would benefit from replacement in due course.
Inside, the cabin presents well, with some creasing and cracking on the driver’s seat in particular, where there is also some bolster wear. The seats have been reconnolised during the car’s lifetime, though the front passenger seat also shows signs of wear. The wood trims generally present well, and the driver touchpoints and controls all present in good order, with a pleasant ‘patina’ of age.
There are no electrical or mechanical faults, and there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard.

SERVICE HISTORY
This 735i’s latest service was carried out during July 2022 at around 66, 500 miles by North Yorkshire Classic. The work comprised of a major service including an engine oil and filter change, a new air filter and spark plugs.
Prior to this, the car was serviced at 60, 889 miles by First Front.
SUMMARY
This BMW 735i is a fine example of the E32-generation model, which marked a step change in the 7-Series from the earlier E23-era cars. Benefiting from a recent major service, this example is reported to drive beautifully, and would make an ideal daily driver or weekend cruiser, as well as a fantastic addition to any collection of iconic modern classics.
