This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 - Motorcycles on Sunday the 12th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
The FL range was introduced in the early 1940s with the 1, 200cc 'Knucklehead' engine
The model is still in production today, albeit with a 1, 868cc engine
This customised machine is fitted with a later 1, 340cc 'Shovelhead' engine fitted into a 'hardtail' chopper frame
Fitted with twin front discs, Mikuni carb and is in running order
Not run on the road for a while so will need some recommissioning before road use
Registered as a 1958 model and so is tax and MOT exempt
UK-registered on a current V5C
