This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 - Motorcycles on Sunday the 12th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
Developed by Harley-Davidson in the late 1960s as a purpose-built dirt track racer using the 350cc Aermacchi engine
Only 572 were built between 1968 and 1972 using a Bendix magneto with a 4-speed, close-ratio gearbox
This original and unrestored example is a rare survivor as most examples would have been raced to death
Matching numbers and running recently, although will probably need recommissioning before serious use
This is an early pre AMF production example and has sandcast engine cases
Air filter and fittings and original old fuel lines included
Complete with old MOT from 2023 and Harley Davidson dating letter
Sold exclusively in the US for 'dirt track' oval racing, so very rare to find here in the UK
Would be a great and unusual addition to any Harley-Davidson collection
