The Corvette C2 is gaining popularity by leaps and bounds. And rightfully so, the grandfather of Muscle Cars has everything a classic car should have: beautiful lines, a powerful engine, tremendous fame, and namesake predecessors and successors. It’s no wonder that the C2 is receiving more and more appreciation.
Also, this green convertible equipped with a 327 cubic inch engine is one that can count on full appreciation. Not only did the first owner of this ‘Vette’ put together an extremely tasteful car in 1967, but is also in optimal condition today. The bodywork is stunning, and the same goes for all other external attributes. It feels very pleasant to hold and has aged beautifully. The carpeting, door panels, console knobs, and all related items are in very good condition.
The technology is, as with any Corvette, a delight. A hefty 327 Cubic Inch V8. 300 horsepower. Can you hear it roar in your mind when it starts? We cefrtainly can! Driving a Corvette always captures the imagination. The feeling when you’re behind the wheel is truly incomparable. The large steering wheel, the burbling V8, the long nose, and the feeling that you’re almost sitting between the rear wheels: this is the real ‘King of the Road’ feeling. Or, in the case of this American, better said: the President of the road. The power plant is coupled to a two-speed automatic transmission that suits the immensely torque-rich character of the Corvette perfectly.
The Corvette not only looks fantastic but also drives like a very well-maintained American car should. The engine with a smooth automatic, the suspension, and the brakes are all in optimal condition. A Corvette that not only has green paint and green upholstery but also ticks all the boxes on the wish list with a green checkmark.
