This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 - Cars on Saturday the 11th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. On offer here is a very good example of one of the best-selling commercial vehicles in history. Naturally, it's a Ford Transit, specifically a Mk2 LWB twin-wheel 'custom' van that has been owned by a private Collector of significant Fords for the past few years.
The odometer shows 18, 855 miles which the vendor believes to be correct, given the van’s apparent originality, but can’t be proven as there is nothing in the way of history accompanying the vehicle, except the UK V5C and MOTs. The V5 shows that it was first UK-registered in 2015 and under current, careful ownership it was fully stripped, repainted and carefully reassembled to meet our vendor's exacting standards.
