Created in 1998, the World Series Championship by Nissan initially took place in Spain and was structured by using a Coloni chassis fitted with 4-cylinder 2. 0L Nissan engines. From 2002, the World Series used single seaters equipped with Dallara chassis and Nissan V6 engine. The World Series became international in 2005, by merging with the European Formula Renault 3. 5 championship: The Eurocup Formula Renault V6 and now forms the Formula Renault 3. 5 Series championship.
This single seater with the Dallara chassis is fitted with the Nissan 3. 4L V6 engine prepared by AER and producing 485 hp. It competed as part of the Racing Engineering team with Justin Wilson as driver, followed by Stephane Sarrazin, before being acquired by Carlos Tavares in March 2006. Carlos Tavares stood out from the crowd at the wheel of this machine during the Boss GP championship, finishing 3rd place in 2006, 1st in 2007, 4th in 2008 and 2nd in 2009 and 2010. It changed ownership in January 2012 and took part at events such as the Nogaro Classic Festival in 2019. Easy to use, this single seater has the advantage of being reliable, easy to start and easy to service.
Equipped with a Dallara chassis and a 485hp and V6 engine, this single-seater is the ideal race machine for any motorsport enthusiast wishing to compete in a single-seater. Additionally, this example has a good track record and a good provenance.
