Description
The Ferrari 208 GTS Turbo is a derivative version of the 308 GTB/ GTS, with the smallest 8-cylinder engine ever built : a 1990 cc V8 ! This version was built for the Italian market for fiscal reasons and also very limited for New Zealand. The atmospheric version of this 2 liter engine had only 155 hp, this Turbo version with injection and intercooler boosts 254 hp. Only 250 copies of this 208 GTS Targa version with Turbo were produced in total, making it a rare model. One can recognize the Turbo version by the elevation on the rear hood that accommodates the intercooler.

The color contrasts nicely with the black Targa roof and the black rear spoiler above the engine compartment. Inside, we find black leather seats combined with red carpets. The leather is the original and has a nice natural patina. At the bottom of the gearshift we find the familiar aluminum guide grille of the 5-speed manual transmission. In this interior you will instantly get into the sporty Ferrari atmosphere
This Ferrari was delivered in Italy and had 3 owners there until it came to Belgium to a collector in 2015. The original manual and stamped service booklet are present, along with the Italian registration certificate.
This unique Ferrari has been well maintained and drives and shifts very smoothly. The small V8 is very nippy and from 4000 tr/ min you feel the huge boost from the Turbo. Together with the excellent suspension and brakes, this provides a lot of driving pleasure.
