JAGUAR XJS 4. 0 CONVERTIBLE - FACELIFT

Just arrived with us is this superb facelift xjs convertible . A very desirable, low mileage, low owner car in the hands of the same owner for the last 16 years and garaged throughout its life . It has covered just 83000 miles from new and supported by a huge folder of service history .

It will be supplied with a full 12 months MOT including any necessary works along with a major service we have just completed including alll new filters (oil, air and fuel ) new spark plugs and rocker cover gaskets and replacement of the handbrake shoes.

Bodywork:

A very genuine example, no rust to all of the usual problem areas - sills, arches, wings, door bottoms etc , the only point worth noting is a surface corrosion spot roughly the size of your thumb nail at the top of the passenger door . Excellent chrome work .

Interior:

Overall in excellent condition and every thing works , the leather shows no signs of sagging, cracking etc , hood requires replacement due to a large split to the rear , a new hood will be fitted as part of the sales price (in itself this is a £1200 job).

Underside:

XJS? are notorious for corrosion to the underside, this car as a whole is in excellent order underneath which is testament to the fact that its been garaged for at least the last 13 years . The sills, wheel arches , floors etc are all in excellent order and rot free. In its whole life it has had one small repair (approximately one and a half inch square) to the drivers footwell in our opinion and nothing else!! We will also be providing a full waxoyl treatment to all floors, arches etc to ensure longevity.

It is of course fully HPI clear , we welcome and actively encourage all inspections and have a ramp available should you require .
