Beschreibung
One of only 7 cars made by Siata with Coupe bodywork by Stabilimenti Farina.
Siata used a FIAT 1400 chassis as basis, fitted with a Siata engine and 5-speed gearbox.
These cars were used in the Mille Miglia and even in the Sebring 12 Hours.
This particular Siata Daina Sport Coupe was ordered in 1951 by a certain Bruno Ferrari who had ordered the car with the intention to participate in the famous Mille Miglia.
But he never got to actually entering the car for the MM as he could not resist a generous offer from a Mexican car enthusiast.
So within 6 months after buying the car it was on its way to Mexico.
In 2017 this car was purchased by the present owner, who had it ground-up restored to exact original specifications.
He went to great length to make sure everything is correct on this car and would be very well documented.
He used the car in various local events and twice in the historic Mille Miglia.
The car is listed in the Registro Mille Miglia, it has the Italian ACI regularity fiche and has a FIVA passport.
The car is ready to go anywhere, it is in excellent condition and very well maintained,
