27, 000 miles, on an XJ? Yes, this car has been seriously loved and cosseted. The paintwork is perfect, the leather as new, all of the dials and switches, alloys and even the engine bay is the cleanest X350 we have ever seen. A good client’s car, that JagTechnic have cared for and looked after since 2022 and no expense has been spared.
With an incredible history and a finish that is almost unrepeatable, if you’re after a new XJ, you won’t get much closer than this one. Slide inside the armchair like seats and turn the key, the engine burbles to life and takes off with the sort of smooth silky feel that only a new car with all new bushes and CV joints can achieve, it really is like being a new car.
The acceleration is plenty fast enough for the weight of the car, a decent and incredibly reliable punch from the venerable 4. 2 litre Jaguar V8. This car is the full package. Buttery smooth and rides the bumps wonderfully with Jaguar’s updated suspension system from the previous model, removing the scuttle shake they were well known for. Throttle response, handling and braking are all in a league of their own for 2003, this is about as luxurious as motoring could get!
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
With almost every conceivable mod con from the factory, including the very rare moon roof / glass sunroof, this X350 leaves you wanting for nothing. The fact that it has a decent sidewall profile also helps no end, when compared with modern luxury cars, the ride is exquisite. So much smoother thanks to the engineering which didn’t put Nürburgring lap times at the top of the priority list and my, won’t your back appreciate it!
With a full and comprehensive service history to back up the super low mileage and only two owners, you know that you’re guaranteed to step into one of the best examples this side of a museum piece. There really aren’t any others out there in anywhere near this condition to compare this car to, but be prepared that if you are looing at a few options that you’ll be blown away with this one! There is absolutely nothing that needs tending to, not a single part, item or fluid that requires any attention.
This is the perfect turn-key luxury cruiser. Jaguar’s key attributes - Grace Space and Pace are all well on display here. As the engine is in such fine fettle, the car feels as fast as the supercharged XKRs, but with extra added refinement. A true marvel and testament to its former keepers.
