Incredibly rare survivor with this being the only 116 series from 1984 in the UK according to 'How Many Left'. Of course the reason is that this car spent all it's life in the hot dry climate on inland South Africa until it's recent import. The body is in fantastic unwelded original condition whilst it has been repainted at some point. Unfortunately the bonnet and front wing have blisters in the paint which happened during container shipping from South Africa although this is reflected in the asking price.
Newly MOT'd and UK registered. With 128bhp on tap from the lively twin cam engine, these Alfas were really ahead of their time and very nice to drive. Road tests in the day showed 0-60 time of 9. 4 secs, more than capable of keeping up with modern day traffic.
With just two previous owners this car was bought from a small collection of Alfas in Johannesburg. The mileage is genuine at just over 100k. There are very very few of these saloons left in the UK so you can be pretty sure you won't see another one too often.
