A 5. 5L V12 engine of 300 hp: this is what the 850i had when it was launched. These figures seemed acceptable on paper however, due to the heavy weight of this high-end coupe, BMW entrusted Motorsport with this lovely engine, which then increased to 5. 6L and 380 hp, hence why the CSI version was then offered in 1992.
This particular example was registered for the first time on the 30th August 1993 and delivered in Belgium to the Albert 1er BMW garage in Genval. Its service logbook evidenced a meticulous and consistent servicing, which resulted in having a car today in impeccable condition at all levels, even with the mileage of 196, 000 km on the odometer.
Its interior is superb and covered with black leather upholstery. The abundance of basic equipment is enhanced by an optional electric sunroof, heated electric seats with memory programming and even an alarm. Finally, it is equipped with the 6-speed manual gearbox. The current owner (a BMW dealer) took it back since its condition was impeccable, as evidenced by its servicing and its last 9 roadworthiness inspections.
It will be delivered with both its keys, four new tyres and the clutch has just been replaced. With only 1, 510 CSI versions produced, as well as its driving pleasure and its beautiful design with retractable headlights, this coupe is an excellent investment for the future. Year on year, its rating is already continuing to increase.
