EXTERIOR
This attractive Mk1 TT in timeless Avus Silver presents beautifully throughout. Fresh from a full detail and machine polish the paintwork retains a lovely swirl-free shine with little more than a handful of minor chips to evidence the mileage. On close inspection all the badges, grilles, and rubber trims are in first-rate condition with no discolouration or age-related marks to report. The headlights are crystal clear, the wheels are unmarked, and both the sills and arches are immaculate with none of the common rust issues. In fact, under current ownership the car has been treated to an extensive underside refurbishment and general shakedown to the tune of £6k; the result is one of the cleanest Mk1 TTs we’ve seen.

INTERIOR
As to be expected the interior remains in fine shape with no signs of major wear to the heated black leather sports seats; the driver’s bolster is in excellent condition and the upholstery is still notably supple throughout. The dashboard and centre console are equally well presented, and the leather-trimmed steering wheel is free from any ring marks. Having always been protected by genuine Audi mats the carpets are also spotless. On test, everything works exactly as it should and there are no dead pixels on the driver’s LCD information display (a common TT issue). All in all, a lovely original interior, the only upgrade over standard being a handy USB/ Bluetooth adapter discreetly fitted in the glove box with full connectivity through the OEM stereo head unit.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with only 31, 282 miles under its belt this desirable 225 example was last serviced and MOT’d in November 2023 at 31, 101 miles. In line with the low mileage the engine bay is very clean and tidy and we’re pleased to report that out on the road the car is as tight as a drum to drive. With its smooth 20v turbocharged engine, slick manual gearbox, and quattro all-wheel drive system it’s a very capable and hugely enjoyable car to drive.

HISTORY FILE
This fantastic TT was first registered in January 2003. Supplied new by Reg Vardi Audi in Leicester it has now driven a mere 31k miles in the hands of only 2 registered keepers. Since purchasing the car in 2021 the current owner has refurbished the underside with only about 500 miles driven since. This work included the following items:
