This 5th wheel tractor unit presents as an older restoration. At the time of cataloguing, it started almost “first-turn.” The lorry ran and drove well and a video is available.
Offered from a deceased estate and owned since 2001, the vendors’ notes state that the AEC was originally supplied to the Ministry of Supply in 1953. Apparently then moving to the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority in 1970 and then into private ownership some time after that. Often seen on rally fields around East Anglia with its popular owner, this lorry is primed for its next custodian.
