We are very pleased to offer a virtually unique 1999 Rover Mini Sportspack. Finished in Old English white and enhanced with the very sought after full length electric sunroof. Supplied new by Dales Rover of Redruth, the Mini was specified with an enviable list of factory options which is detailed on the original bill of sale. Full Sportspack, Electric sunroof, Horizon blue leather and walnut door caps, over three thousand pounds in extras alone. The results are amazing, it s a Mini that certainly draws a crowd and offers a baby Rolls Royce feel. It has only covered 24 thousand miles in 24 years with just two previous owners. It is accompanied with a comprehensive service history including original Rover sales receipts, fully stamped service book, a raft of invoices and both sets of keys and fobs. This Mini offers a subtle alternative to the Cooper variants with the same performance.
On the road this Mini drives very well indeed. The low mileage 1275 engine is virtually silent and the gearbox is precise. It has a Manilflow exhaust system which gives it a subtle burble. This is an MPi Mini. which stands for multi point fuel injection, what it really means is that all you need to do to enjoy your Mini is turn the key and go. Further features include a drives airbag, alarm, immobiliser, side impact beams and taller gearing for long distance cruising. This model also has servo operated disc brakes so it has excellent handling and very effective brakes. This Mini will certainly put a smile on your face, it has bags of power and at the touch of a button the whole driving experience is totally transformed when the roof is open offering the full wind in the hair experience.
This Mini has a fantastic interior, Horizon blue leather seats, matching door cards and dash top rail. Walnut 6 clock dash with Magnolia dials, Walnut door caps and matching carpets. The original Pioneer cassette player is also present and correct.
The Mini has a fantastic shell. It underwent a photographic renovation in 2020 and it has been garaged since. It has the correct vented sills, body coloured floor pans, new rear subframe, detailed boot floor and very well presented engine bay. The paintwork is gleaming and belies its vintage. This is a awesome looking Mini.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven this Mini and it also has a full MOT so is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
