If you are looking for an extremely original Jaguar E Type this could well be the car. It has had just two owners from the same family (mother and daughter) and the current owner who purchased the car in 2006 when it had covered 31, 456 miles. There is a letter from the family in the file confirming this.
In my former life at Beaulieu Garage I heard about the car residing in the motor house of a large local estate. I remember pulling it out as a non runner but was absolutely amazed at how good it was when we had cleaned the dust off. It was recommissioned and has led a very cosseted life since. In the current ownership ( 2nd family) it is part of a small but interesting collection and has now covered 34, 000 in total.
The car is incredibly original though it has been painted. Take a look at the pictures of the seats. They are in stunning original condition. The car is superb in all respects. Last year it had a major service and some other work as necessary. It now runs beautifully and is an absolute joy to drive.
