We've just managed to purchase this lovely car back, which we sold in 2021.. A lovely All Steel tradional VHRA compliant Model A Roadster Hot Rod .
Since I sold it, its been on an expensive trip to Belcher engineering, and had the engine fully rebuilt and upgraded at a cost of £12, 500 with all the best internals. This is fully documented and photographed .
Belchers also went right through the car , attending to anything else that was needed.
New brakes were installed , new Coker whitewalls fitted to improve handling, new Stromberg twin carbs and fuel pump, new period look alternator etc etc ..
In total , over £20, 000 has been spent on the car with Belcher .
This is a well built and improved lively 4 banger car , that drives well . We think it looks just right .
Correctly registered, it is all Steel, and finished in Ford Washington Blue with matching chassis .
Built to a very high standard in the USA, imported in 2015 and has been used successfully at Pendine Sands and is fully VHRA Eligeable.
The rebuilt 3. 3 Engine has a Miller Hi Speed OHV Cylinder head, Lincoln Zephyr 3 speed box with Mitchell overdrive which helps cruising . This car pulls as well as many V8's we've had.
It comes with a thick history file which contains many invoices of all the parts used on the build .
The front end has a 32 Steel Grille Shell which houses a Walker Radiator. It all has a '32 cowl dash and working vent .
Brakes are upgraded 40 Ford Hydraulic all round .
Front Beam is a Speedway Unit with Chrome shocks .
Professionally trimmed Interior has a Leather glide seat, seat belts, Stewart Warner guage, Bluetooth stereo and a very high quality hood with glass rear window and side screens .
The boot area continues the theme with an alloy fuel tank , battery & isolator .
This is a cracking car, built to a high standard and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated .
