Two Stroke to Turbo purchased this Saab on 28/ 02/ 2001 with only 49, 782 miles on the clock. The car was in very good original condition with good history. The car was owned by a lady customer of SAAB Wimbledon the suppling dealer, they took the car in on a part exchange against a new Saab convertible. It was Fully recommissioned before being used as a company car by myself the father of the owner of Two stroke to Turbo. The car could not want for anything during this time and was upgraded and fully resprayed by SAAB Wimbledon’s official approved body shop using the highest quality paints. When I retired, I purchased the Saab from Two Stroke To Turbo. During my ownership of the car it has always been garaged under the house in a dry and warm environment, only coming out on the best days. I have deciding to stop driving it and have had many years of enjoyment with the car, cruising around the country lanes with the hood down. Vehicle History:
One owner from new. Initially a company car and then transferred to private ownership to the same owner on 04/ 03/ 1993 until 28/ 01/ 2001 when it was part exchanged at Saab Wimbledon.
Purchased from SAAB Wimbledon 49, 937 miles 28/ 02/ 2001.
Re-sprayed at Saab Wimbledon, body kit refurbished, comprehensively wax-oil injected throughout the cavities and a new hood was fitted. All the minor imperfections on the panel work were dealt with by Dent Master so the minimum skim of filler was required. The finish to the black paint is to a very high standard, almost blemish free. The costs exceeded £7500. 00 as all the fittings were removed as well as the front screen to paint the inner screen surrounds, the bumpers and full body kit were also fully stripped and repainted in original graphite grey, at a cost of £500. 00. A full new mohair original canvas hood including the rear window section was fitted for £1400. 00. The interior leather was treated with a full leather conditioner to clean repair and soften the leather any marks were painted in using Bradley’s leather repair system. £250. 00. New Alloy wheels were fitted, original Accessory alloys deep dish 16” Aero with polished alloy edges and graphite grey centres £1000. 00. The engine and gear box were removed and fully resealed and refitted.
It became a Two-stroke company car for me and I still had another modern company car for daily use (a new Saab 9000 CD) - since this work was carried out it has only covered 21, 000 miles approximately.
I took over official ownership 15/ 04/ 2005 when I retired.

This Saab Convertible 900 classic is a totally original, including its official accessories fitted to enhance its performance and looks including a wooden dash and centre console trim, also wooden switch pack and rear ash tray. Original Saab over mats, external hood tonneau cover and soft canvas cover for roof when lowered.
Current condition:
Bodywork - The body work is corrosion free, the many years of wax oil treatments have paid dividends, the panels are free of marks and dents and the paint has good shine and depth to its finish. The vehicle is regularly waxed.
Interior - The leather interior is in good overall condition, tear free with minor signs of wear to the driver’s seat what would be acceptable for the age and mileage. The carpet has had over mats from new and is in perfect condition. The dash trims and wooden fascia are in excellent condition no signs of the wood cracking or the vinyl dash cover splitting.
Hood - The canvas is unmarked and is in perfect condition having been replaced in 2001 and having been garaged the entire time, the internal head cloth is still well fastened and in good condition rubbers seal are nearly perish free.
Steering and suspension - A recent overhaul of the suspension system is evident, new shock absorbers (Sachs quality OE spec) inc. ball joints and up rated bushes, as well as a reconditioned steering rack. The alloy wheels are in excellent damage free condition.
Engine and gearbox - The Automatic power train is in very good condition the gear box drives/ changes smoothly. The engine performs faultlessly smooth and is free from oil leaks, the timing chain is quiet, no rattles. Recent new water radiator and more. The engine benefits from a red APC box and green line Lucas injectors as well as an uprated 3 bar fuel pressure regulator which improves the cars performance and economy.
Brakes – Upgraded Saab 9000 Aero ABS callipers fitted.
Electrical - All electrical systems have been tested and all work properly including heated seats and convertible hood pump is quiet and smooth. The alternator has recently been replaced. Cruise control and ABS are features that greatly enhance the driving experience.
A/ C fitted and converted to R134, original tool kit in boot.
Original SAAB Wimbledon number plate still fitted to rear, rear reflective panel and stainless-steel Abbott Racing door tread plates fitted
Wind deflector included, a very practical accessory when cruising at speed. And original 3-part plastic roof boxes and bag.
Large service folder and original service book and copies of old log books, original sales brochure
Stamped Anti corrosion inspections carried out at Saab hence the reason it’s not been welded and is original throughout.

Only covering on average 1400 miles a year over the last 23 years of my ownership and having the luxury of being garaged during the entire time.
Over these years, there will have been many items of repair work carried out by Two Stroke which has not been documented or invoiced as I would, and still do, carry out engineering repairs to components that are no longer available and help the development of new improved parts for the Technicians.
