Description
The "New Six" (also known as the E3) is a line of luxury sedans and coupes produced by BMW between 1968 and 1977. All models and versions used the "M30" in-line six-cylinder engine.
The “New Six” marked BMW's return to the luxury sedan market after a 5-year hiatus and was presented as a response to the growing market segment dominated by Mercedes-Benz. It was a key model in establishing BMW's reputation as a maker of luxury sedans and sports cars, after a wave of coupés and models that were by no means focused on passengers, only on the driver.
This is a 1973 3. 0 SI, which was sold new in Portugal where it has remained till today. It is in excellent condition, with original paint with nice patina, but absolutely no rust(!), and with the original manuals still present. It has been part of a private collection for many years and driven very seldomly.
