The Vanquish we have here, number 50PP09 was from the final batch of 22 'PP' or pre-production cars. These were production specs but not intended for sale to the public.
Of these 22, 4 became 4WD James Bond cars, 3 survive today, '50PP10' is in a museum, One is known as 'Jet2', One was converted by Zagato, 3 unconverted ones are known to have been scrapped, 3 were crash tested, 1 was used for corrosion tests, 1 to test the ability to repair the car, the remainder are believed to have been dismantled.
AMHT registrar confirms this as the earliest and only road-worthy Aston Martin Vanquish V12 Pre-production car recorded.
Finishedin the iconic James Bond shade of Skye Silver over a black leather-trimmed cabin.
It rides on the correct set of19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, shod in the original Yokohama tyres.
Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack with the service manual, and two keys.
