1976 Ford Escort Mk2 4 Door 1. 6 Automatic. RHD Import from South Africa. Car starts runs and drives and is now fully UK registered. We have the V5 here.
Body - 4 door shell with. Good original floors, chassis rails, sills, inner wings, arches. Will need a minor repair next to the drivers side bonnet hinge. Will need minor repairs in both boot wells. Paintwork is perfectly useable with afew scraps n dings, If you wanted a show winner youd need to paint it. Good bumpers and body mouldings. Fairly original old car
Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow and factory Auto box. Starts and runs and engine sounds fine. Gearbox goes through the gears OK. Brakes are fine. Would need a service as a minimum and carb adjusted. Standard running gear. As with any project it would need going through from front to back.
Interior - Original door cards. Seats have been recovered with someones grandmas curtains. Dashtop has cracks in it. Good headlining
Wheels- Standard factory steels and hubcaps.
This is a fairly easy project and still fairly original in terms of metalwork and structure. You are welcome to come and see the car and we can put it on the ramp if required. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote
