1989 Mercedes 190e 2. 6 auto factory carat duchatelet.
Finished in surf blue and taxi tan interior, it really is a fantastic combination.
The paintwork is in lovely condition and has a deep glossy finish, the interior again is in beautiful order with minimal wear and is nicely finished off with a nardi wooden steering wheel and a period walnut radio cassette. Athe speakers have been upgraded to Rockford for better sound quality.
The car has covered around 165k miles but has been very well looked after. Recently its had a full service including all the filters and oils, spark plugs, dizzie cap, new radiator, new rear silencer (new old stock genuine part) new battery, the list goes on.
The car is on air suspension supplied by only charged dubs, which in my opinion was the best kit to buy. The kit consists of custom Lowe front wish bones that are poly bushed, v2 air lift management, twin air tanks and compressor (hidden in spare wheel well), bilstein b8 shock absorbers and silver project camber adjustable top mounts. This has all been fitted properly, but could quite easily be returned to standard.
The wheels are 16x8 rial mesh, with a polished lip and gold centres, wrapped in nankang tyres.
The car drives superbly, with plenty of power. The gearbox changes nicely and it rides nice with no knocks or bangs.

Overall the Merc is a lovely car, last of the piper built Merc’s and it turns heads wherever it goes, especially being a rare carat duchatelet.
